🇦🇴 Angola – Key Information

Geography and Population
Angola is located on the southwest coast of Africa. It borders the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the north, Zambia to the east, and Namibia to the south. With more than 1,600 km of Atlantic coastline, Angola serves as an important maritime and trade hub. The country has approximately 36 million inhabitants (2025). Its capital, Luanda, is one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas on the continent.

Economy
Angola is among the largest producers of oil and diamonds in Africa. In recent years, however, the government has been systematically promoting economic diversification—particularly in agriculture, infrastructure, renewable energy, and modern technologies. Thanks to its vast natural resources and strategic location, Angola offers significant investment potential and opportunities for long-term sustainable projects.

Business Environment
Angola is a member of regional and international economic organizations that foster trade and foreign investment. Ongoing reforms aim to improve the business climate, strengthen transparency, and support cooperation with international partners.

Social Development
Alongside economic opportunities, Angola also faces challenges in healthcare, education, and social infrastructure. This is why development and charitable initiatives play a crucial role, contributing to improved living standards and supporting the younger generation.
